Three years earlier;

Jake fumbled with his phone in frustration as he uninstalled another dating app. He was getting tired of wasting his time! One more date with a woman that only "thinks" she's looking for a commitment and Jake might be single forever. He went back to the comments and reviews; Jake relied on feedback from guys like him, men with the same goal -not just a bunch of quick hookups and dirty texts. Jake took some time to complete his profile; making sure to include every detail about himself. The amount of women that came back was bewildering; but he saw more than a few that caught his eye. Fifteen profiles and three messages later Jake was ready for a break.

Several hundred adorable messages, three phone calls and one week later Jake finally found the courage to ask Amber out on a date. He found himself standing on Ambers porch trembling from nerves. He knocked on the door and when it opened his mind went blank, "are you ready?" she said. Jake stared at her absentmindedly for a moment, "ready for what?" he questioned. "bowling, did you bring your shoes?" she replied. He shook off the confusion and responded "absolutely, lets hit it!" What an amazing night -despite the fact that Amber mopped the alley with him.-The pair continued speaking for a few days and Amber invited Jake on the next date. The carnival was a great idea; another chance for Jake to showcase his athletic side -he needed that since Amber had beaten him at bowling on their last date.- The two kept dating for another year; movies, dinner, yard sailing on weekends. This relationship was really proving to be special!

They entered the theater; Jake pressed his hand to his pant pocket, he shook of the nerves as he felt the ring box. Amber handed Jake her popcorn and soda so that she could use the restroom. This was his moment! Jake dug into her popcorn a little and dropped the small velvety box in. Halfway through the movie -and her popcorn- Amber began kissing Jake uncontrollably on the left side of his face. "I will, I will!" she screamed. By now, both had completely lost interest in the movie. They raced out to the car; each in a hurry to get home and put an end to the evening.

A wonderful two year engagement had come to a close with a beautiful wedding and long romantic plane ride to the Virgin Islands for their honeymoon. The bride and groom were finally alone and neither could think of anything better to do than go to the hotel for some relaxation after a hectic week.
